1. I served as a Director of Horticultural Experiment Station, University Farm, Faculty of Agriculture, University of Khartoum, Sudan for 16 (1982 – 1998) years. The Station is focussed mainly on providing research facilities to the Staff members and graduate students. It, also, provides teaching and training services to undergraduate students and extension services to the growers and other clients.

2. I served as a Manager of the Date Palm Centre, Agricultural Research Corporation, Ministry of Agriculture, Khartoum, Sudan. My duties were to establish and manage the Centre for the improvement of data palm industry in Sudan.
