1. Since 1982, I have been actively involved in initiating, developing, leading and supervising different research projects in fruit crops industry (tropical & subtropical fruits crops. i.e. Banana, Mango, Date Palm, Guava, Grapes, Pomegranate, Papaya, Fig, Pineapple, Annona, etc). The research programs focused on problems hampering the development of fruit crops sector and the ways of improving fruit production in Sudan.

2. I worked in multidisciplinary teams to develop research priorities in fruit crops industry and to evaluate and review different research projects and programs in fruit sector that developed by Agriculture Research Corporation (ARC), Ministry of Agriculture, Sudan.

3. I participated in designing, conducting and supervising research projects in the area of ornamental plants in Sudan.

4. In 200I, I participated in a research project entitled: (Vegetative propagation of locally common rainforest plants in Australia), in collaboration with the Friends of the Escarpment Parks in Toowoomba City, Queensland, Australia.
