–       Synthetic Medicinal Chemistry

–       Synthesis and kinetical evaluation of the imidazotetrazine delivery system to alcoholic, phenolic and acidic prodrug.

–       Validation of pharmaceutical products analysis.

–       Design of Antitumor Prodrugs

–       Isolation, purification and structure elucidation of biologically interesting natural products.

–       Quantitative structure-activity relationship (QSARS)

 

Areas of research interest:

  1. Development of synthetic routes for naturally occurring compounds with endued anti-tumor activity.
  2. Total or partial synthesis of biologically important molecules.
  3. Isolation, characterization of naturally occurring compounds with endued anti-tumor activities.
  4. Design of molecules for the oral delivery making use of the imidazotetrazine nucleus oral stability.
  5. Coupling of polar drugs with the imidazotetrazine to be release at site of action, and studying the kinetics of the release at difference pH conditions and specially at pH 7.4 ( physiological pH).
  6. NMR studying of time dependent reactions at different pH specially hydrolysis of imidazotetrazine molecules that synthesized for biological interest.
