Entrusted to teach the prescribed courses of Veterinary Pathology for the undergraduate veterinary students at the Faculty of Veterinary Medicine, University of Khartoum. The lectures were designed to cover the following parts:

i-General Pathology

ii-Neoplasms

iii-Special Pathology ( Systemic Pathology of domestic animals)

iv-Morbid Anatomy

v-Avian Pathology,

vi-Clinical Pathology.

In charge of the practical training of the students in various aspects of Veterinary Pathology including:

i. Post-mortem examination for the diagnosis of animals diseases.

ii-Histopathology,

iii-Clinical Pathology and other diagnostic aids.

Involved in teaching, training and guidance of postgraduate students and Teaching Assistants of the Department in the field of pathology ( necropsy, histopathology, clinical pathology and research activities) .

Administrative

 

Engaged in several administrative responsibilities within the Faculty of Veterinary Medicine, University of Khartoum:

1-Vice-Dean for Research and Postgraduates Studies (1999-2000 ).

2- Vice-Dean , Faculty of Veterinary Medicine.

3-Member of the Faculty Board (FVM).

4-Member of the Faculty Research Board (FVM).

5-Secretary of the Departmental Board of Veterinary Pathology (1985-1988, 1996- 2000).

6-Acting Head of the Pathology Department for so many intervals.

7-Active member of several committees within the Faculty of Veterinary Medicine   including

i. Faculty Co-ordination Committee for utilization of Foreign Technical Aids (1985).

ii. Faculty Committee for the evaluation and improvement of the University Farm (1987).

iii. Interview Committee for the newly-admitted Veterinary students.

iv. Faculty Committee for the revision and amendment of the Basic Act of the Students Rules and Regulations (1987).

vi. Small Ruminant Research Sub-committee; affiliated to the 50th Anniversary of the Faculty of Veterinary Science (January, 1988).

vii. Examination Committee, Faculty of Veterinary Science for the academic year 1997/1998.

viii. Faculty Board sub-committee for student cases.

ix. Head of the Faculty sub-committee for the supervision of the Photography Unit and Audiovisual Aids.

x. Head of the Faculty Board sub-committee for revision and amendments of regulations and curricula of the post-graduate programmes for MVSc/MSc by courses.  

xi-Coordinator of post-graduate studies at the Department of Pathology(FVM, U of K).

xii-Member of the Faculty Research Board sub-committee for reviewing post-graduate student proposals for master degree by courses and complementary research.
