1990–1995 I worked as a veterinarian in poultry, dairy and sheep farms in private sector (part timer),
Khartoum State, Sudan
1992–1995 Teaching assistant, teaching practical classes of parasitology to undergraduate students of Faculty of Veterinary Science, University of Khartoum. During this period I participated in a Research Project on Cameline Trypanosomiasis in Eastern Sudan funded by FAO/IAEA, which offered me an opportunity to participate in a workshop on diagnosis of this disease in Nairobi, Kenya.
1995-1998, Assistant drug formulator at El-Shifa Pharmaceutical Company, Khartoum. During this period, a good knowledge about pharmacokinetics and pharmacodynamics of medicines as well as their manufacture was gained through local and abroad trainings and workshops.
1998–2002 Teaching assistant, teaching practical classes of microbiology to the undergraduate students of Faculty of Veterinary Science, University of Khartoum.
