2. 1985 -1990:   Teaching Assistant and an M.V.Sc. Fellow at                               Faculty of Veterinary Science, University of Khartoum, Sudan.

3. 1990 – 1994:   A Ph.D. Fellow at the Centre   for tropical Veterinary Medicine, university of Edinburgh U.K.

4. 1994-1998:    Assistant Professor , Dept. of Parasiltology Faculty of Veterinary Science, University of Khartoum, Sudan.

5. 1998 – 2002:  On secondment as General Manger Ministry of Animal Resources, Gedarif State, Sudan.                                 

6. 2002 – 2003: Assistant professor, Dept. of parasitology, Faculty of veterinary medicine, University of Khartoum.            

7. 2003 – Present: Director of Khartoum University Press and associate prof. at the faculty of veterinary medicine, University of Khartoum
