Position: Assistant Professor at the Faculty of Engineering, University of Khartoum.
Amjed Hassan has an excellent background in simulation work and laboratory measurements, besides teaching experience. Dr. Hassan filed 2+ patents and published 40+ articles in international conferences and peer-review journals. Teaching courses include reservoir engineering, petrophysics, waterflooding, and introduction to unconventional recourses. His research interests are unconventional recourses, enhanced oil recovery (EOR), and artificial intelligent techniques. Dr. Hassan serves as an assistant reviewer for several journals such as Petroleum Science and Engineering. He has participated in many regional and international workshops and conference. Dr. Hassan is an active member of the SPE, SPWLA, EAGE, and DGS societies.
