Title:– The role of Gum Arabic as a supplementary therapy for chronic renal failure disease

The research deals with the:–
1– Comparative study between the commercial and authenticated Gum Arabic in the scope of physico– chemical properties and bacterial load.
2– The effect of ingestion of 25g/day processed Gum Arabic (for 28–days) on the levels of urea, creatinine,hemoglobin, percentage of minerals (Na, K, CA, and P) in the blood.
3– The effect of ingestion of 25g/day processed Gum Arabic (for 28–days) on the contents of protein and volatile acids in the feaces and polyamines in blood; as metabolic products in colon.
4– The domination of Klebsiella sp. over E. coli after ingestion of Gum Arabic in faeses.
