1-    House officer in departments of surgery, medicine, pediatrics, obstetrics and gynaecology in Khartoum North teaching hospital (1989-1990).

2-    Medical director in Emergency department in Khartoum North teaching hospital (1990-1991).

3-    Medical officer in departments of Medicine and Ophthalmology in Khartoum North teaching hospital (1991-1995).

4-    Resident of Ophthalmology in Khartoum Eye teaching hospital, departments of Ophthalmology in Military hospital and Omdurman teaching hospital (1996-1999).

5-    Teaching Assistant in department of Ophthalmology-University of Khartoum (1996-1999).

6-    Assistant Professor in department of Ophthalmology- University of Khartoum 1999 till now.

7-    Lecturer in Makah technical college for medical ophthalmological assistants.

8-    Lecturer in the Nursing Institutein Khartoum Eye teaching hospital(now called AbdAlfadilAlmaz eye hospital) .This institute is under supervision of the Ministry of Health

9- Member in the Ophthalmology council in the Sudan medical specialization board.
