1982:

Work at haj research Center, King Abdul – Aziz University, Jeddah, Saudi Arabia, for one season (pollution and meteorological studies).

Operating different types of spectrometers pH – meters and ion-exchange deionizer during the master’s degree research for two years. All the stock solutions and buffers were prepared at high accuracy.

Numerous courses with both theoretical and practical sections in physical, analytical, organic and inorganic chemistry as well as petroleum and petrochemical industry.

1984-1989:

Lab. Analyst at central Laboratory of water and sewage Directorate in Eastern Province, Dammam, Saudi Arabia.

This laboratory analysis samples of potable water both salt and sweet as well as samples from different stages of Qatif and Dammam Sewage Treatment Plants.

The laboratory also undergoes checking of disinfection at Dammam water and sewage networks together with bacteriological tests.

1990-1991:

Scientist at Energy Research Laboratory (E.R.L) Research Institute, King Fahad University of Petroleum and Minerals, Dhahran, Saudi. I was in charge of chemistry laboratory of the laser Group.

1992-2001:

Lecturer of Physical Chemistry, Chemistry Department, Faculty of Education, University of Khartoum. My teaching activities included lectures in Thermodynamics, Kinetics, Quantum Mechanics and other items of physical chemistry for under – graduate students of the University of Khartoum and other Sudanese Universities.

Other activities included supervision of those students during training program of teaching chemistry in Sudanese secondary schools. Besides; I contributed in teaching special topics to post graduate students and supervised a number of researches in the M.sc. qualifying level.

For a period of six years, starting 1993, I was appointed as an academic supervisor of freshly admitted students at the Faculty of Education.

During (1996 to 1999), I have been appointed Head – department of Chemistry, Faculty of Education, University of Khartoum and hence a member of the Senate of the University of Khartoum .

2002-2007

Teaching Assistant at Teacher’s College – Ministry of Education (Qassim University) – Arras Saudi Arabia. Achievement evaluation was excellent for five successive years.

2007- to Date :

Lecturer, Department of Chemistry Faculty of Education, University of Khartoum.
